Good on Modern Family but I wish Ty Burrell got a nod

Although I enjoy Glee very Much, but I am glad Modern Family got it, because it is so damn funny. I am sorry Dexter, Breaking Bad, and for that matter Lost, lost for Mad Men. But I am glad for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart win.

As for the acting, I am happy for Jim Parson's win as Best Actor in Comedy Series for The Big Bang Theory, it is about time that show gets recognition for anything, I am just pissed the show itself was snubbed while a mediocre shows like Nurse Jackie got a nod, which proves divas win over geeks any time. As for the Supporting Actors in Comedy Series, it could have went for either actor from Modern Family and I would have been happy, but the winner Eric Stonestreet had a slight edge in my opinion.

Also the two leads of Breaking Bad Bryan Cranston and especially Aaron Paul are will deserving. The two male acting categories for drama were so competitive that I would not have been disappointed any way it landed. This happen when you have names like Michael C. Hall, Jon Hamm, Mathew Fox, Hugh Laurie, and Kyle Chandler nominated for Lead Actor, and Terry O'Quinn, Martin Short, Michael Emerson, and John Slattery nominated for Supporting Actors.

I had no dog in that fight for actress in Drama, Lead and Supporting. But I am sad Tina Fey lost for Edie Falco form Nurse Jackie. Jane Lynch, in the other hand, was awesome in Glee, even though I was so in love with the two girls from Modern Family.

Over all, the results were satisfying for the most parts. But I wish that next year they recognize Survivor in the Reality Competition Program.
