The man's ego is far from beaten.
The new Uwe Boll?

I wouldn't say so. The main distinction is that
Shyamalan
*does* have a vivid imagination, but probably no more the talent to bring it to screen. He also has the backing of studios, and access to stars.
Boll
is just trash.

Uwe Boll is entertaining, unpretentious trash. He knows his films are crap, M. Night is in denial.

this is just a small movie that he produced that was going to be released next year and possibly straight to VHS but when The Last Airbender was a success they right away bumped this to this year.
so as bad as this is going to be,this is going to be the "little movie" shaymalan produced which is better than The Happening and The Last Airbender put together.

By the time you get to be 25, you've seen 3,000. You've seen every permutation of every dramatic arc. And when somebody takes that and stands it on its head, that can be exciting."

And you say the man is all ego! Here is the funniest thing you'd ever associate with the name
Shyamalan
. I promise you will laugh your asses off.

A good calculated marketing spot from Manoj.

If it were all in the script, why make the film?

Despite not being screened for critics,
Devil
is actually getting better than expected decent reviews. It is currently standing at
50%RT
which is not bad at all. May be not having
Shyamalan
in charge is the solution for all the problems in the world, lol.

Some friends watched it and found it over-rated, and very M. Night-ish, whatever that means.
