Sharaf DG is supposed to be Dubai number 1 Electronics store,ya? this is how it's advertised in Bahrain..

they opened in Bahrain City Center a year ago and they have anniversary celebration which started the other day.they are offering 500 prizes, all you have to do is spend 10 BD to get 1 coupon.

i only bought a couple of DVDs from them, i wonder what's everyone experience with them when it comes to electronics? i figured it might be a good time to buy the WD TV HD Media Player now....if they have it anyway.

By the time you get to be 25, you've seen 3,000. You've seen every permutation of every dramatic arc. And when somebody takes that and stands it on its head, that can be exciting." David Fincher

they advertise here by saying they have 'everything' under one roof and if they have something more expensive than the market price they refund you the difference... They have a good reputation as far as electronics goes, here in Dubai

Spoken like a true bargain hunter. Nothing beats the deals you can get in the Electronic stores at Nasser Square or Bur Dubai.

Sheeba is not to be trusted. They put faulty batteries in their mobiles and their TVs and other appliances also have issues. After a string of bad experiences, I dont trust that place with a barge pole.

Personally I like Sharaf DG, able to get any electronic item I require. Yes the same items you can get in the Nasser Square cheaper, way cheaper sometimes, only catch is most of these items won't have any warranty.

sharaf DG's advertising that they will refund if you can get it cheaper is a hoax...they have a clause that you have to get it cheaper at the following places and list out places
Even their "if we dont have it, you get it free" is loopy.
its got repute, but dont go for their gimmicks. I shop their quite often, but not cause of price / but rather convinience. I'd go to plugins/emax if it was closer to home/work...but the situation is improving

I like PlugIns at Dubai Festival City. Don't shop for Electronics that often, but I like the place. Service is good, and I've got what I've wanted.
