Fantastic, guys.

Best line comes from MAD: "I believe any film that's been made can be improved -- just add a few zombies."

And Fizz is probably the closest you can get to the movie version of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. If only you had a Stephen Fry accent.

I'm going to be extremely nepotistic and say, screw Stephen Fry's accent. He should have Fizz's accent!

Haha...guys thanks. Feels good to have such positive feedback. I'm contemplating a career in voice recording now Cheesy

Before going on air we asked the producer of the show if they had capabilities to record the session and she said they do, but it is done selectively only for those shows that are repeated, and unfortunately Saturday Extra does not fit into that list. She also explained the reason for this was because they had far too many guests comings in (at 15 minute intervals, though we were afforded a almost 30 minutes because of how lively, I believe, the session turned out).

I know Oz has, in the past, recorded radio broadcasts for me on mp3. Should be a piece of cake for him, even if the show doesn't stream online. I'll ask him to check.

Thanks AK for posting the mp3 files. I was so excited that I woke up early to catch it live only to be disappointed. I know Fizz and I know how immensely enjoyable conversations with him, he get all fired up but never loses his cool. I also know of Mad and how witty and wacky his writing, not to mention his insatiable appetite for films, so a conversation with him should be great too. Those two are usually different as day and night in their taste of films, but when you read their reviews you feel like splitting yourself in two because each one almost manage to convince you that his opinion is the right one, that is how good they are.

I chose to post this before listening to the files because I know for sure that I am right this time and that they did produce a great episode. There will be more praise later on.

I just finished listening to the files and it was as expected fantastic, not enough Mad though. Fizz was excellent and he really took over the interview, the presenter was no match for you my friends.

Now we will have to consider starting our own podcast, it is about time.

Hello. Yeah, I used to before, when we had a dial up connection and I couldn't acquire music off the 'net. I'll test this out today to demonstrate the quality of the recording and let you know by today evening. I'm using my Creative Zen Microphoto 8GB.

Test 1: A 30 second sappy song from Dubai 92, while I was walking around my room.

By default, they're saved in .wav, which is an uncompressed version of .mp3. Conversion can be done using numerous free tools, which I'll list shortly.

Test 2: 50 second recording of some RJs talking from Dubai Eye 103.8, while I was walking around to pick the best reception

"There's this whole school of thought that movies are always so great when you're 10 or 12 years old, and the reality of it is, when you're 10 or 12 years old, you've only seen 100 stories. By the time you get to be 25, you've seen 3,000. You've seen every permutation of every dramatic arc. And when somebody takes that and stands it on its head, that can be exciting." David Fincher
