I don't know why someone like Kevin MacDonald would direct a film that looks like a generic cross between Gladiator/Braveheart and The Last of the Mohicans. He assembles a good cast too (Channing Tatum, Mark Strong, Jamie Bell) so people obviously think its a good idea he made this. It looks....familiar.

Narrative is the poison of cinema...There’s nothing more beautiful than elusiveness in cinema.

Looks like a bread-and-butter job for MacDonald.

Also, the film will be a huge hit with homosexuals.

It's ironic that for someone who admits he's "bi", the Dude is the biggest gay basher in this forum. So no I don't think the Dude will be interested Tongue

well..it looks much interesting than Robin Hood or Prince Of Persia....and Jamie is in it.anyways, studios make these movies for the international market not the US market but it doesn't help when the movie flops at the US box office the first week.

"There's this whole school of thought that movies are always so great when you're 10 or 12 years old, and the reality of it is, when you're 10 or 12 years old, you've only seen 100 stories. By the time you get to be 25, you've seen 3,000. You've seen every permutation of every dramatic arc. And when somebody takes that and stands it on its head, that can be exciting." David Fincher
