Where have you been living? lol. Cars2 was announced to be on the making a few years ago, it is the release of 2011 from Pixar. Monsters, Inc. 2 is coming November 2012.

Like the original, the sequel will suck, as the teaser suggests. Really, what a crappy teaser.

In its defense, and I am too not a fan of the original and I have not even seen more than random scenes, it is a kids film and kids I know loved it. Its biggest problem is that, unlike the other Pixar films, it does not appeal to adults.

I would disagree with it being a kids film. It's a good buddy flick - kids find the appeal in the variety of vehicles and adults (like me) were intrigued by the warmth of the relationship. I think its a very worthy Pixar effort and look forward to the sequel.

May be you are right Fizz, to be honest I was not invested in it enough to watch it entirely even though I have it in my DVR for years now. It just looked to me as a kids.

Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams in Blue Valentine, here is a pair of amazing young actors in a seemingly interesting drama, the trailer is really good. The film has been given an NC-17 rating, which means that it will probably not be seen by anyone in cinemas in the States:

Finally Anthony Hopkinz, in what looks like a Ron Howard directed adaptation of a Dan Brown novel. Hollywood has been trying to make the equivalent of The Exorcist for more than 35 years now without much luck, and this film, The Rite, doesn't look like it is gonna be it. The trailer is blah and not interesting the slightest:

I've already seen ALL GOOD THINGS, and there's a funny story to it: I was getting one of the films I have made telecined at a post-house and the guy doing it said, "Wanna see what else I am transferring?" I said "Sure." And it was ALL GOOD THINGS! This was over 6 months ago; how times flies!

The film is very Hitchcockian (specifically PSYCHO) and a bit strange and nasty!

Two of those films are practically the same - and the third is not very far behind. Studios could have just saved money, hired one director, put all the stars together and tortured us in one go (it would even make more money this way!).
