That's a fantastic looking trailer! There seem to be some visual references to
Christopher Priest
's
Inverted World
- not in the story or characters, just in the world these characters inhabit, especially about the shifting gravity, and the exact shape of the spinning top.

Although I have decided to act "financially responsible" this summer, but I don't think I can really stop myself from sneaking to Bahrain or Dubai one weekend to see this film. I shall work on it.

By the time you get to be 25, you've seen 3,000. You've seen every permutation of every dramatic arc. And when somebody takes that and stands it on its head, that can be exciting."

Actually the background design is fine, it is the way the people posing what makes it look stupid.

Chris Nolan's 'Inception' Seen By Insiders
This summer's most anticipated film, Christopher Nolan's Inception, is still unfinished with a July 16th release date. But I've learned it screened for the cast and their reps on Monday. And even the most cynical people who usually hate everything were knocked out. "It was beautiful." Lots of gushing about the "incredible work" by Leonardo DiCaprio, Marion Cotillard, and Ellen Page.

And wait till you get hold of the new trailer (online only for now). As brilliantly teasing as anything I've ever seen.

Avatar
became the film that everybody loves to hate. I think film buffs and snubs alike should find another punching bag, because it became tiresome and kinda sour grapes bitching about how unoriginal
Avatar
is, while Fox,
Cameron
, and associates are laughing all the way to the bank more than two and a half billions richer.
