The ending of
The Ultimates Vol. 1
is one of the most disturbing I have read... even by
Alan Moore
standards.
Lol...wait till you get to volume 2, arguably the best comic sequel ever written...

I did, and it is as bad-ass as bad-ass gets! Man, wish they could do this with HULK in the movies. Actually, as you said,
Bay
should indeed make this into a movie - R-rated and all.

Bay should not be allowed to ruin any more franchises.

I don't like how Bay has become the whipping boy for a lot of people just because of his latest work. When he churned out TF1 everyone thought he was a great hero and I'll bet if he manages to redeem himself with another flick we'll all go back that thinking. Just shows how short-sighted we've become.

For the record, I never understood the fascination with the first Transformers. I remember watching it and while I didn't dislike it, it was forgettable, but for the duration that is lasted, entertaining fluff. Bay has been the whipping boy of critics, deservedly, since Armageddon.

Armageddon
was lacking in logic or science, but was high up there in awesome-factor. Maybe his third best movie, after
The Rock
-- the best being
Transformers
. I like
Bad Boys
too, but not a big fan of it.
Transformers
, the first, is an awesome movie. It is the definition of Summer Blockbuster, and to the 00s what
Independence Day
is to the 90s. It's like
Bay
had, for all these years, been building himself towards bringing the Autobot vs Decepticon fight to screen. The second movie, is ofcourse, crap.
I do want
Bay
to continue making Loud and explosiion-filled movies, even if he throws in a dud like
The Island
or
Transformers 2
between his better movies.

I meant his earlier movies were good, especially The Rock, but I thought Island was nice...and he's never dissed me with his movies, until I watched TF2. Also, he can continue making other similar action movies (similar to The Rock!), but he shouldn't be allowed to screw such a perfectly fine franchise. I'm against him fucking it up, not making senseless action flicks.

Transformers 2 and Michael Bay deserves all the bad rap that they have been getting. It is a film interested in blowing stuff up and dazzling you with explosion than to tell a coherent story. The paradox is, for a film with so many stunning action scene, it sure bored the hell of me and I and I couldn’t wait for it to end. It took everything that was nice and cute about the original and turned it into tired and annoying, like the Sam parents for instance. Not only that, but his new roommate is utterly ridiculous and I wished that he would be killed by a Decepticon after spending 5 minutes with him. Then we have Sam and Mikaela’s fight and how he wouldn’t say I love you to her. Fuck you asshole if you don’t appreciating that you have the hottest girl in the world, a girl who is obviously dumb enough not to know that she could do much better.
You could shave 30 min of this film and it will still be a dump action film, and that is not a complement. I give it
1.5/5
and I am being generous here. Even X-Men Wolverine was a better flick to me, and that comparison is an insult to X-Men Wolverine.

Haha, 1.5! Yes, Wolverine was much better. I heard on the radio today that Megan Fox had a problem with fans watching the movie because they thought her body was hot, and not because of her acting skills. I was laughing so fucking hard! Acting skills?! The fucking R/C monster truck had more of a personality than her!
